Linescratching Post for the week of Feb 18, 2011

It’s good to start off a new feature with the three staples: Sister Missionaries, Drugs, and Rock n roll.

Can sister missionaries rock? Elaine Bradley of the Neon Trees delivers a nice interview over at Mormon Women.

Q. What do you get when you cross LSD with LDS? (Besides a high priest) The original bass player for Alice in Chains was arrested in SLC. (This is only linescratchers news by the farthest stretch, but I really wanted to get that high priest joke in.)

Rolling Stone still exists? Rolling Stone still exists. Two linescratchers are are being considered for a Rolling Stone cover–you can vote to help them, if you wish. Good luck, Fictionist and the Steelwells!

Trailer? I hardly know ‘er! The new Low album, C’mon, is up for pre-order at Subpop. If you pre-order it, you get an instant stream of the album. There’s also a trailer for C’mon on Youtube (I guess this is a thing that people do now?)
